What do you most look forward to in a LARP? Are you an action fan or more of someone who enjoys spending time crafting materials for trade

I think I'm gonna enjoy crafting potions and interactions more than the fighting.

I started with a LARP I felt had a good mix. Some quests, some combat and lots of politics. However, it has been so long since a good LARP, I am ready to make some new stories and have new experiences. I am tired of repeating the same old stories time and time again, so now, i am ready for new ones.

Potion crafting is fun, but I think we may be tweaking the recipes this year to make them a bit more accessible. And.. um... tasty lol.

Have you tried any of the potions? Some are fine, others are... are less than exciting to drink.

Person who made the rules here. Guilty as charged.
We never actually discussed the taste of those things, but I did try magicka potion once. Once. It wouldn't be a bad idea to revamp those drinks a bit more suitable for taste buds.

Yeah, the other reason would be to include ingredients we can acquire in the US. Most of the stuff is available, but there was a couple tings we had to make substitutions for.

Maybe using just different colors of Kool aid would be an option? Its cost efficient and then you could have other things we need (such as a specific colored drink umbrella or having to write/ find specific runes to attached to the drinking vessel) but not necessarily have to drink. That way there is more in game things we have to look for/ do than having to buy a variety of ingredients that don't have a good taste combo.

I was thinking about having ingredients that still need to be procured, but being able to Pys.rep the end result with different kinds of Gatorade and power aid. They come in a TON of colors and could easily cover all the different potions.
